Questions? We’ve Got Answers
Everything you need to know about our classes, from logistics to what to expect
What makes your classes different from other childbirth education?
Our classes are taught by practicing labor & delivery nurses, IBCLCs, and perinatal specialists, not just educators. This means you get real-world, current knowledge from professionals who work in hospitals and with families daily. Our instructors understand the latest protocols, procedures, and evidence-based practices. Additionally, our virtual format makes expert education accessible to families nationwide, not just those in our local area
How do your classes work with my medical care providers?
Our classes complement your medical team’s care by providing comprehensive education that enhances your healthcare experience. We teach evidence-based information that helps you understand your options and communicate effectively with your providers. Our education empowers you to ask informed questions and make decisions that align with your preferences while working collaboratively with your medical team.
How long are the classes and what's included?
Our classes last 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the class, and all live classes are recorded for review. You’ll receive access to the recording for 9 months.
When should I take your classes?
For birthing education, we recommend starting classes in your second trimester (around 20-28 weeks) to give you time to practice techniques and ask questions. However, it’s never too early to start learning. For postpartum classes, you can take them during pregnancy to prepare, or after baby arrives when you’re ready to learn. Our flexible virtual format accommodates your schedule. If you’re considering multiple class packages, we recommend spacing them out to align with your journey timeline.
Are your classes only for first-time parents?
Not at all! While many first-time parents benefit greatly from our classes, experienced parents often find our education valuable for refreshers, new techniques or addressing specific concerns. Every pregnancy and baby is different. Our classes are designed to be valuable whether this is your first baby or your fifth. We welcome questions and discussions from parents at all experience levels
Do you accept insurance or HSA/FSA?
Many of our classes qualify for HSA/FSA reimbursement. We also accept various payment methods including Klarna payment plans to make expert education accessible to more families. We’re happy to provide receipts and documentation needed for reimbursement. Contact us if you have questions about your specific benefits.
