My journey began as a nanny, where I first fell in love with caring for families and supporting them through the ups and downs of raising their children. I’ve always believed this work is “God’s work”, a calling to help parents during one of the most special and vulnerable times of their lives.
When I became a doula, I saw parenting in a whole new light. I reflected on my own experience as a mother and asked myself, How can I show up for families in an even better way? The answer was simple: by putting myself in their shoes, feeling their joys, their worries, and their struggles and finding ways to make their journey just a little bit easier.
Starting Doulas by the Bay was a dream come true. I wanted to build something that reflected my heart for this work, a team of caring doulas who truly show up for families with love, care and understanding. Our mission is clear: to be there for parents in a way that helps them feel confident, truly seen, and cared for as they navigate their parenting journey.
This work has changed my life, and I feel so grateful to lead a team of people who share this passion. At Doulas by the Bay, we’re here to make a difference, one family at a time, one moment at a time.
